Ruth L. Schumaker, 93, was born to Daniel and Pauline Haase in Odessa, WA where she was raised. She married Herbert A. Schumaker February 7, 1945. Together they made their home on their farm 16 miles S.W. of Ritzville. They retired from farming in 1986. They then moved to Ritzville to enjoy retirement. Ruth moved to Bremerton in 2013 to be closer to her children. Ruth is survived by her children, daughter Lona Royer(Randy) and son Tom Schumaker(Susan), sister Louella Smith, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband. Graveside service will be held at the Ritzville cemetery Friday, September 10 at 1:00 pm.
